WONTON

Marts masak hari ni. Wonton. Ada orang panggil dumplings. Flexible - boleh stim, goreng atau masuk dalam sup. Nampak macam remeh tapi sebenarnya senang je, sedap pulak tu. Ha ha ha...

Boleh makan puas-puas, tak payah la asyik nak ke The Chicken Rice Shop semata-mata nak makan sup wonton.

Bahan-bahan :

::Udang - buang kulit dan cincang
::Ayam tanpa tulang - cincang, atau boleh guna minced chicken meat sahaja kalau malas
::Chinese cabbage - potong halus-halus
::Cendawan shiitake kering - rendam dan cincang
::Halia - cincang
::Daun bawang - potong halus-halus
::Sedikit kicap, garam, lada hitam, lada putih, tepung jagung, minyak bijan dan gula.
::Wonton wrapper

Nota : Wonton wrapper boleh beli kat supermarket, bentuk empat segi dan kadang-kadang dia tulis sebagai kulit popiah tapi bukan kulit popiah yang nipis dan mudah koyak tu ye.

Cara membuat :

Campur dan gaul semua bahan kat atas dengan kicap, lada hitam dan lada putih, garam dan gula sampai sebati.

Ambil wonton wrapper, letak filling sikit di bahagian tengah, dan bungkus. Korang boleh buat bentuk pouch, triangle, square, karipap ke atau pun lain-lain bentuk yang korang suka asalkan filling tak terkeluar bila masak. Kalau nak goreng gulung macam popia pun boleh jugak. Basahkan tepi wrapper dengan air supaya melekat.

Bila dah siap, wonton ni boleh la dimasak ikut cara yang korang suka samada stim selama 15 minit, atau digoreng atau pun masukkan dalam sup. Kalau nak goreng, jangan masukkan filling banyak sangat, nanti kulit dah masak tapi filling belum cukup masak lagi. Kalau nak best, cuba goreng sekejap dan lepas tu masukkan dalam sup. Crispy skin tapi filling smooth dan soft. Sup ni guna sup kosong sahaja yang ditambah dengan sawi yang dipotong kasar.

GET HAPPY I

13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.

14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, OR issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the nagative blues away.

18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
